The seven members of GOT7 have already begun working on their respective careers weeks after exiting JYP Entertainment. Several of them have, also, previously discussed their plans for their 2021 projects.

Like most of the idols in the group, Jackson signed a deal, as well, with a different label. Months after closing the contract, Soompi reported that he has now become the cover of the latest issue of L'Officiel Hommes.

Based on the photos from the shoot, the material features the K-Pop idol in a "masculine yet soft vibe." He, also, appears to have sported different classy and romantic looks.

Aside from the official images, the GOT7 member, also, shared a few details about himself, especially regarding his latest activities as a solo artist. In the accompanying interview, Jackson revealed his "excitement" for his career.

He said that he is "looking forward to having a fresh start," adding that his gratefulness is "strong" towards his Korean fans. He explained that he started his singing career in the country. Hence, the local fans will always be a part of his journey in the world of music.

Jackson, then, teased about his upcoming projects. He stated that a single will drop during the spring season of the year.

He noted, however, that it is always a "challenge" for him to direct music videos and write scripts. But, the K-Pop idol emphasized that he always puts his effort into doing these things, especially now that he is working solo.

On Friday, the GOT7 member surprised his fans and followers after releasing a collaboration with Indonesian artist AfganAllKpop reported that the track, "M.I.A" is an all-English R&B song, which focuses on "assuring someone" about their feelings.

Jackson's latest joint project with Afgan is not his first music release as a solo artist. As it happened, he and Rain teamed up for a "groovy R&B track" earlier this year and released it a few weeks ago.

Bandwagon said that the song titled "Magnetic" is part of Rain's new albumPIECES OF RAIN. The collaboration did not seemingly shock their fans and followers, though, because the public learned that the label he signed in on is Rain's own company, Sublime Artist Agency.

Moreover, weeks prior to the release of "Magnetic," the GOT7 member had various appearances on shows, alongside the Full House alum. A separate report from Soompi even released a sneak peek of Jackson's activities together with Rain on the set of The Manager.
