It looks like fans don't have to wait longer to see what will happen next in My Hero Academia Chapter 308. Kohei Horikoshi seems to cancel the manga's break, and it may drop as scheduled.

It was earlier announced that My Hero Academia Chapter 308 would be delayed for a week. Horikoshi, reportedly, wanted some rest, but he might just continue working this time.

According to BlockToro, the new chapter's release date on Viz Media and MangaPlus have been changed, hinting at the delay's cancellation. It's now updated to an April 4 release, per the manga publishers' official sites.

From ten days wait, it now noted that the new chapter would be out in four days. Horikoshi didn't give any details about the manga's break or the delay's cancellation, but fans are surely celebrating the news.

There are theories the mangaka decided to continue working on the series instead of taking a break so that My Hero Academia Chapter 308 would be out in time for Shigaraki's birthday. The League of Villains' leader's birthday is on Sunday, April 4, which is also the new chapter's release date.

The manga always has two to three chapters done in advance, so Chapter 308 may have already been completed. Horikoshi is maybe now working on Chapter 310 or 311, so he may take a break next week instead.

Comicbook noted the manga creator deserves to rest as he has been hard at work as of late. The manga has now entered a new arc after its previous chapters' intense turn of events.

Its anime version, alternatively, has officially begun. So, Horikoshi has all the reasons to go on a vacation and enjoy much-needed relaxation before returning to work again.

Meanwhile, My Hero Academia Chapter 308 may mainly focus on Deku, and his battle against Muscular after the latter manages to defeat Shindo. The previous chapter showed the city was under attack, and Shindo and Nakagame tried their best to save the people, per International Business Times.

Shindo was confident he could solve the problem with his smile, but Nakagame doubted that he could handle the negotiation. True to his thoughts, the citizens inside the Taguchi building didn't listen to them.

Shindo warned them of the danger and asked to come with them to the academy, but they all feared that the villains would attack the place. They then accused the heroes of incapable of protecting their city, so they wouldn't put their lives in their hands.

Nakagame and Shindo then received a call from Makabe about the jailbreaker. Before they could even move, Muscular already attacked the heroes.

Shindo asked Nakagame to take the people somewhere safe as he faced the villain. An intense fight ensued, and Muscular left Shindo almost dead. Deku then arrived, saved Shindo, and would meet Muscular in My Hero Academia Chapter 308.
