Jindō Kiriya will be back on Inō no AICis Season 2. The franchise has officially announced the anime's return, along with its official release date and more.

Inō no AICis Season 2 will continue Jin's epic journey to investigate the most dangerous culprits. However, compared to other detective anime stories, this one is far different due to their supernatural abilities.

The franchise revealed the anime's continuation and other significant details that fans need to know in a tweet. It will bear a new opening theme, titled "Limit," performed by AliA and, while the ending music, "Taiyō ni Nareru ka na" or "Can I Become the Sun" in English, will be sung by Tsuyu.

According to Epic Dope, the series will continue the brutal scenes and other similar incidents Jindō has to investigate. As their investigation once again begins, can they find these criminals among their kinds and put everything under their control?

Anime News Network noted there would be two new cast members joining Inō no AICis Season 2. Hisako Tōjō and Mitsuru Watanabe would be part of the series to play the roles of the two new characters, Iruka Shido and Dr. Kazamatsuri, respectively.

Jin Ogasawara, Haruna Asami, Chiyo Tomaru, and Hikaru Midorikawa will all return to reprise their roles in Inō no AICis Season 2 as Jindō, Fūka Minase, Chiyo Izumi, and Aka-ude. Once again, fans will see their journey in the fictional Geso ward in Tokyo, a school city, where students can have supernatural powers using the app called AICis.

Inō no AICis tells the story of the Uzusio Academy students. It begins with the monologue of Kouji Hirayushi, who can shape-shift for five minutes, per OtakuKart News.

With this ability, Kouji can do everything he likes, from transforming to a popular girl to be with the other women in school and turning into a teacher to get the correct answer. However, Jindo, the school detective, will catch everything he's doing.

So, where does his ability come from? The AICis app gives them supernatural powers, though it also comes with consequences that users have to pay. In Kouji's case, he has to write everything about his opponent before activating his power.

A lot of people have superpowers like what Kouji has. However, when they use it for their own benefit, a trouble begins in different parts of Tokyo.

This epic journey will continue when Inō no AICis Season 2 drops on Saturday, April 10. Fans will then start to see it every Saturday of the week.
