Zara Tindall, the cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, is, allegedly, helping the brothers make peace, especially after the Duke of Sussex did his bombshell interview with Meghan Markle on Oprah Winfrey's show.

Reports cited that Tindall, who is Princess Anne's daughter and Queen Elizabeth's first granddaughter, has been stepping it up "over the past year" to help William and Harry patch things up before they are set to reunite for a big event in honor of their mother, Princess Diana, in July 2021.

Tindall, who doesn't have a royal title, has a very tight bond with William and Harry and is now regarded as their peacemaker. It's no secret that the brothers grew up with their cousins and spent a lot of summers and holidays together as children at Queen Elizabeth's estates.

William and his cousin even got married to their respective partners in the same year (2011). They also have children close to each other's age, who have now become playmates as well.

Tindall was also the person to first train Prince George, William's eldest child, to ride horses. She is an accomplished equestrienne who has competed in the Olympics, just like her mother, the Princess Royal.

But sources told New Idea that William has also approached his cousin for another form of help. Apparently, the Duke of Cambridge asked Tindall to assist him "in the years to come" as his responsibilities as a working royal increase.

By the time William sits on the throne as king, he will have a slimmed-down monarchy with just his wife, Kate Middleton, and his children working for the Firm. He could no longer count on Harry since he has decided to pursue a different life in the United States with Meghan. Thus, William will need all the help he can get from the rest of the members of the British royal family.

Tindall, however, is not a working royal and has never signed on for the job. While she is in the British line of succession (19th), her mother tried to raise her and her brother, Peter Phillips, away from the royal spotlight.

The children of Anne have always pursued their individual goals outside of the family business. Tindall also felt grateful, in a way, that their mother decided to give them a more normal life to release them from the pressures of royal life.

The source also doesn't think that Tindall would be able to help William with royal work since she is a hands-on mother. The Olympian recently gave birth to her third child with her husband, Mike Tindall.
