Netflix surprised fans upon releasing its first-ever teaser poster for Castlevania Season 4. On Friday, the streaming giant dropped the material on social media platforms, using the caption "we're back" and hashtag "Castlevania."

Comic Book said that the poster gave the fandom a new look at the "fresh aesthetics for the vampire slayers, vampires, and devil forgers." While netizens are seemingly loving the visuals, the post did not include any details about the show's upcoming season.

It did not say when the anime series will return on Netflix. The same, also, applies to the plot, synopsis, and other essential details that excite fans further.

Even so, the acknowledgment that Castlevania Season 4 is, indeed, happening has since caused clamor among avid fans and viewers. Many individuals have expressed their excitement and eagerness to witness the all-new episodes in the comment section of the post.

Over thousands of responses have emerged since the release of the poster. Some even retweeted the original post after receiving the confirmation of the show's return to Netflix.

Comic Book previewed a few of these comments and responses in a separate report. While many of the fans shared their happiness following the latest developments, others were more eager to learn when Castlevania Season 4 will arrive.

Otakukart previously noted that the new and upcoming installment will serve as the final run for the show. Although details remain scarce, it believes that Season 4 will likely premiere later this year or early 2022.

Whatever the case, though, fans are having a mixed reaction about it. Alongside being in celebration, many are, also, seemingly sad that the anime series is already approaching its end.

Amid all the assertions and assumptions, the same publication said that more information will come to light in the next few weeks or months. Netflix will undoubtedly continue to tease fans and followers of the series, allowing the hype toward Castlevania Season 4 to build further.

As for the cast and production crew, things will, reportedly, remain the same, considering how Season 3 concluded. Accordingly, fans may expect to hear the same voice actors in the new episodes.

These personalities include Richard Armitage, James Callis, and Alejandra Reynoso. They have been lending their voices to the characters of Trevor Belmont, Alucard, and Sypha, respectively.

As for the production team, there are no reported changes for Castlevania Season 4 yet. Therefore, it is expected that creator Warren Ellis will remain as the director and writer and Adi Shankar as the developer of the series.
