Prince Harry is due to fly back to the United States after his brief stay in London for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip. Before going back to Meghan Markle, however, the Duke of Sussex will be talking and taking a walk with Prince Charles.

Royal sources told Daily Mail that Harry and Charles will be viewing the flower tributes for Philip together at the grounds of Windsor Castle. This indicates that Harry is back on speaking terms and trying to reconcile with his family, amid reports that they were hurt by the interview he gave to Oprah Winfrey last March.

In that interview, Harry told Winfrey that Charles had cut him off and that his father would no longer take his calls when he and Meghan moved to Los Angeles in March 2020. Harry also said that he was disappointed by his father as he was expecting Charles to support him with his decision to step back from his royal roles.

Insiders said that Charles was "deeply hurt" by what transpired in that interview that initial talks with Harry and his father became "unproductive." Sources said that Harry felt frostiness from his family when he returned to London for the funeral.

But at the funeral, royal observers were delighted to see Harry talking and walking beside his brother, Prince William, with whom he was reported to have a rift in the last three years. The reunion was like a healing moment for the royal family and for many royal observers who have been waiting for the brothers to patch up their differences.

According to Andrew Morton, the biographer of Princess Diana, William and Harry's mother would be truly happy to see the brothers coming together in honor of their grandfather. Morton said that this was a clear sign of a reconciliation.

Meanwhile, royal commentator Victoria Arbiter said that Harry should not rush back to the U.S. as Queen Elizabeth will be celebrating her 95th birthday on April 21. It will be the queen's first birthday without her husband and the royal family is expected to rally behind her.

However, it's unclear if the family will be able to gather and celebrate in big numbers since the queen is still under her COVID-19 bubble. The Duke of Sussex, on the other hand, is, reportedly, eager to get back to Meghan, who is due to give birth in about six weeks to their second child. Prince Harry will have to quarantine when he comes back to the U.S., there's a small chance he could still be isolated from his wife if she suddenly goes into labor.
