South Korean boy band sensation BTS has joined hands with the global fast-food chain McDonald's to offer a "specially curated meal" for legions of fans globally known as the ARMY starting at the end of May.

BTS, or bulletproof boy scouts in a loose translation, has worked with McDonald's to develop a meal consisting of a ten-piece Chicken McNugget's box, with medium fries and a drink. The nuggets will have special dipping sauces, Cajun and sweet chili, based on the taste of South Korea.

According to CNN, the United States, Canada and Brazil will be some of the first countries to launch the BTS Meal on May 26, while South Korea's McDonald's outlet will have the offer ready by May 27.

Globally, however, outlets in 50 countries will be rolling out the promotion by the summer for at least three weeks. To confirm the participating outlets across the world, the ARMY may follow the McDonald's Twitter thread for the updates.

Big Hit Music, the agency that represents BTS, said that it's fitting for the group to endorse the fast-food chain as they have "great memories" with McDonald's.

Meanwhile, BTS has reached another milestone after surpassing one billion views for their hit video "Dynamite" on YouTube. Released on August 21, 2020, Dynamite broke records from the very beginning as it became the widely viewed music video on the platform within 24 hours.
