Fans are now waiting for One Punch Man Chapter 144, as it may come out any time after Yusuke Murata almost finishes working on it. The manga series is not following any schedule, so readers are just on standby when they can see it.

Murata is, reportedly, done with One Punch Man Chapter 144, so it may be ready for release. Chapter 143 surprisingly drops earlier than expected, so the next installment may have the same fate.

Chapter 143 was out on April 2, while Chapter 142 dropped on March 22. Usually, it took a month before a new chapter was released, but there were only less than two weeks wait between these two installments.

So, as it is nearly three weeks since Chapter 143 was unveiled, Chapter 144 might come out anytime from now. According to BlockToro, it may drop on Tuesday, April 20, after the mangaka reveals he only has three pages left to finish the series and is working hard to complete those.

Murata usually finishes drawing two to three pages per day, though it depends on the art's quality and the characters involved. So, if One Punch Man Chapter 144 doesn't come out soon, he may still have several processes that need to be done.

Anyhow, nothing is fixed yet about the new chapter's release. Aside from drawing the pages, he also has to set the sequence in order, write text dialogues, and make some last-minute edits.

Murata is also working on redrawing Volume 24, so there are a lot of works that he needs to do. Fans may just need to bear with him.

Meanwhile, as a lot are waiting for the next chapter's release, they, too, are eager to know what will happen next. Asap Land noted Fubuki might become the next S-Class Heroes leader, thanks to her dedication and willingness to sacrifice herself for others.

Drive Knight, on the other hand, may rescue the heroes from the missile. However, as he only has little care for them, it is not far that he may turn into a villain someday.

In One Punch Man Chapter 143, Genos fell from the sky in front of Fubuki, Puri-Puri Prisoner, Bang, and Bomb, per The Global Coverage. The Cyborg was on the verge of exploding due to the Drive Knight's negligence and the lengthy battle he experienced.

Drive Knight left the scene, though, while Puri-Puri went on his way to save the Child Emperor. Genos, alternatively, faced the enemies.

Fubuki refused to leave despite the orders and used her psychic power to stabilize Genos' core as he was already defeated. Though she succeeded, she had overused the energy that caused her to faint.

The chapter ended with Bang and Bomb talking. What happens next can be seen when One Punch Man Chapter 144 finally drops.
