Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) will be working together again to take on a particular mission in NCIS season 18 episode 13. The two often team up on whatever is thrown at them, hinting that their partnership could turn into something more romantic.

There have been a lot of clues that Torres and Bishop might be romantically involved, eventually. In fact, during episode 6, titled "1mm," their potential relationship has been addressed, although not in detail. NCIS season 18 episode 13 could likely revisit the conversation they had before.

Based on what transpired, Torres and Bishop do have feelings for each other. However, they weren't able to talk about things properly since both of them were in a dangerous situation at the time. And even though they were rescued, they never opened up on that conversation again.

Since they will be working together in NCIS season 18 episode 13, Torres and Bishop may decide to discuss this matter again. The two may put their lives on the line and they'll be able to open more about their feelings for each other -- something that was shown when they were locked up in episodes 6.

Yet, based on some of the preview photos, Torres and Bishop look more interested in the case they're handling and may set aside, once again, the budding romance between them. The two were both dedicated to their jobs and they often choose not to talk about their personal life.

It looks like their romantic life may not be entirely tackled in NCIS season 18 episode 13. As the synopsis notes, the team will be investigating a biker killed in a hit-and-run incident. There isn't too much tease when it comes to their life outside their job.

Still, there's hope for them that they'll talk about their potential relationship in the future. After all, the two already admitted some of the feelings they have for each other. The police procedural drama might bring something more for them at some point.

Elsewhere, Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) has his own storyline, as well. He's been suspended from the department over the past few episodes, but it looks like next week's episode is a chance for the special agent to rejoin the team.

As seen in other preview images, Gibb is preparing himself to testify against a financial adviser who stole millions from his Navy clients. He will be brought into the court, possibly at the behest of the person who suspended him, Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll).

NCIS season 18 episode 13, titled "Misconduct," airs on Tuesday, May 4, on CBS.
