Prodigal Son season 2 episode 12 is going to be the penultimate of the procedural crime drama. The upcoming episode comes with the title "Sun and Fun" and it will continue to follow Malcolm Bright (Tom Payne) finding his father, Martin Whitly (Michael Sheen), who escaped from Claremont.

Yet, while his intentions were good, some people in the department questions his action that's why they took him off the search.
Malcolm has been trying so hard to battle the demons inside his head and this will continue to play out in Prodigal Son season 2 episode 12. He experienced a lot of terrible things during his childhood days because of Martin. He knows how evil his father can be and he doesn't want others to suffer.
Malcolm's past was a huge part of him, and Martin was one of the major reasons why he wanted to get away from his life before. Although his father claimed that he already changed, Malcolm believes that he's going to do terrible things again now that he escaped.
In some of the recently-released preview photos, Malcolm can be seen a storage room with red lightning. In another one, he is having a serious conversation with Dr. Vivian Capshaw (Catherine Zeta-Jones), who could have some valuable information about Martin.
Meanwhile, the future of the procedural crime drama is uncertain at the moment. Fox hasn't renewed the series for season 3, so there's still a question when it comes to its future. Fans may need to wait for a few weeks before the announcement is made.
