Now, AllKpop noted a netizen created an online community showing Jennie owning an alleged Porsche and she was even seen riding it on her Instagram. The netizen also included some snaps of the hitmaker, along with the said expensive car.
The post even revealed the alleged vehicle Jennie has is a Porsche Turbo 911, which costs around $203,500 or higher. Indeed, the K-pop superstar is now living the dream.
Though she does not want to be called a princess, as heard on BLACKPINK song "Lovesick Girls," she seems to be like one. So, where do these things come from?
According to the South China Morning Post, Jennie gets her wealth from being a solo artist, a part of a world-famous K-pop girl group, and a number of brand endorsements -- not to mention she came from a wealthy family.
In fact, she is one of the richest K-pop kids. Her mother is a major shareholder and stakeholder of CJ E&M, one of Korea's biggest entertainment and media content companies, and MNet and TVN's parent company.
Her family even owns a Porsche Cayenne with a price tag of $60,000. Jennie, too, is the ambassador of several luxury brands.
She has been the face of Chanel since 2018 and is even dubbed the "Human Chanel," often seen wearing and using the luxurious brand. Times Now News noted she had been spotted clutching a Chanel Pharrell XXL Flap Bag worth around $9,000 and even seen wearing a Chanel jumpsuit, costing over $12,000.
Jennie's other endorsement deals vary from the Korean cosmetic brand Hera Beauty to Samsung Galaxy to Lotte Confectionery. The BLACKPINK star has also collaborated with the luxury eyewear brand Gentle Monster, releasing her own line of sunglasses called Jentle Home Collection.
