Prince William and Prince Charles seem to be denying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle some royal perks after leaving the royal family. Aside from possibly not getting the Clarence House, the Sussexes may not have a chance to christen their daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, at the Windsor Castle.

Prince Harry and Meghan, allegedly, wanted to baptize Lilibet at St. George's Chapel at the Windsor Castle, where their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was christened. The couple aimed to have Queen Elizabeth II attended the event, but it looks like that it may never happen.

NBC royal correspondent Neil Sean revealed, via Yahoo!, that Prince William denied his brother's request to hold his daughter's christening at Windsor. The Duke of Cambridge, allegedly, said it was "not going to work."

However, Sean added another reason that it might not happen was that Kate Middleton's husband was not yet ready for a kiss and makeup with his younger sibling. A source told the writer the future king was the one who disagreed with Prince Harry's plan.

It was not a good idea for Prince William, but another insider told The Daily Mail the former senior royals were happy to wait until the circumstances let them. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams also shared his two cents about the plan.

He told Express in August 2021 that Prince Harry and Meghan could have held Lilibet's christening in California instead to avoid the same controversy that happened in Archie's baptismal. As everyone knows, the two now live in a lavish home in a neighborhood in Santa Barbara, Montecito, after stepping down as senior royal family members in January 2020.

Since then, their relationship with the British press has turned sour and it all started when Archie was christened in private. At the time, even the names of the godparents were not publicly released.

Another thing that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be denied is their chance to move to the Clarence House if Prince Charles becomes king. The Duke of Wales moved into the said home after the Queen Mother died in 2022. She had lived here for almost five decades.

Previous reports claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were set to move to the place when their father ascended the throne. But, it might now be far from happening.

After the controversial Megxit, it may no longer be the case for the two. Their move to California just means the Clarence House is "no longer on the cards." So, instead of them, it may now be given to Prince George, Princess Charlotte or Prince Louis.
