Netflix has officially greenlit "You" Season 4, confirming the return of Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg. But aside from the famed stalker-murderer, is it possible for Love (Victoria Pedretti) to return, too?

"You" Season 4 is believed to be set in Paris after the third season finale showed Joe, now Nick, left a café and walked the street with the Eiffel Tower behind him. There are theories Joe is in the City of Lights to look for his daughter after Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) escaped Love and ran with Juliette, per TechRadar.

Showrunner Sera Gamble told E! the search for Marienne and Juliette in Paris would be the main focus of the show's new season. In addition, Dottie (Saffron Burrows) may never take Love's death too lightly after Forty's (James Scully) demise in the second season.

So, she may do something to Joe whenever they meet again. In an interview with Badgley himself, he told Collider that the biggest question in the series is, will someone try to kill his character.

Meanwhile, despite Love's death, there are assumptions that she is still alive and the third season finale leaves several clues about it, ScreenRant cited. If this happens, "You" Season 4 can follow the story of its main source, Caroline Kepnes' thriller book series with the same title.

One thing that has to be considered is Love not getting a proper funeral on the show. The series also does not reveal if her body gets burned.

In Joe's narration of the third season finale, he explained the fallout from Love's death. He set everything up to make it look like a suicide incident and he even faked his own demise.

However, knowing how unreliable Joe is, consistently twisting everything he says to fit his own perspective of the world, this may never be true at all. He also gets the best of Love when he secretly takes the wolfsbane antidote before he tries to murder him.

But as Love is more familiar with wolfsbane than Joe, knowing she has worked with the drug before, she may know how to get around it. This may mean Love may have survived Joe's murder attempt and a big twist is about to be seen in the next season.

Netflix has yet to announce when "You" Season 4 will be out, but there are theories it may come out either in later 2022 or early 2023.
