Bob Odenkirk has now officially rejoined the filming of "Better Call Saul" Season 6 after suffering a heart attack. Now that everything seems ready to complete the series' final season, when will it finally drop?

"Better Call Saul" Season 6 has experienced several production delays. Aside from Odenkirk's health scare, the COVID-19 pandemic has also greatly affected its schedule.

The show was renewed in January 2020 and was about to start its production anytime then, but the global health crisis happened. The staff and crew had to wait until March 2021 for the cameras to start rolling again, but the show's lead star suffered a heart attack in July.

Fortunately, come September 2021, Odenkirk managed to join the filming again. The Cinemaholic noted the new season is now progressing and Giancarlo Esposito himself, who plays the role of Gus Fring, reveals his part is "almost completed."

Does this mean "Better Call Saul" Season 6 will soon be out? When the new season finally drops, there are theories it will explore the aftermath of Nacho's (Michael Mando) failure to complete his plans.

Lalo (Tony Dalton) may be on a hunt to find Nacho after realizing who is behind the assassins. Fans will also finally get to know the story behind the transformation of Jimmy as Gene Takovic.

Of course, the final season may also answer the questions surrounding Kim (Rhea Seehorn) and her non-appearance in "Breaking Bad." In addition, what happens next to Gus after the drug-war showdown may also be revealed.

To recall, in an interview with the series' creator Peter Gould, he posed questions about "Better Call Saul" Season 6 to Entertainment Weekly. He asked if Jimmy deserved death, love or what would be the most fitting event to happen in this man's life and the show. Although the end for everyone is dead, it will surely not be the case for Jimmy.

Meanwhile, everyone is now looking forward to knowing when the new season will be out, per Screenrant. In fact, the show's official Twitter handle itself has been making fun of its release date by posting a meme about the series' delay.

It shared a post of Kim's snap while talking on the phone inside a bathroom while looking so nervous. "Yeah, they keep asking when the premiere is," the timely caption reads.

So, when "Batter Call Saul" Season 6 will finally be released? Though there are no official words about the release date yet, fans expect it to hit the small screens in the first quarter of 2022.
