"Power Book II: Ghost" Season 2 has finally debuted on Starz and fans can expect to see a lot of drama in here. Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) will do everything to keep things formal despite what happened in the previous season finale.

He and Brayden (Gianni Paolo) will play major roles in "Power Book II: Ghost" Season 2. Brayden is the only family Tariq has, especially now that he is about to grow his business.

CarterMatt noted fans are hoping Tariq will understand things more so that he can tell Brayden everything. This time, there is no room for secrets, and Brayden is even known for being too loyal to him.

Sure, they are both ambitious, but they need to strengthen their bond to make things work out between the two of them. If there is anything they need to do this time, it is to keep each other alive.

Despite the strong bond, fans cannot help but think if anything is bound to happen in "Power Book II: Ghost" Season 2 that will make Brayden betray Tariq. Knowing how the story goes, this is not far from happening, though it may not occur this time.

Meanwhile, aside from these two, Tariq's old flame, Effie (Alix Lapri), will also have a big role to play in the second season. Her character has been expanded and the 25-year-old star told TV Fanatic fans are about to see and know a little more about Effie.

"She's definitely pulling her weight," Lapri said. Effie will reveal a "few different levels" of herself, what she can do and what she is capable of doing that fans need to watch out for.

Elsewhere, Rainey revealed his Tariq's mind is "all over the place." He is still trying to deal with the fact that he killed someone in the first season.

He also has to deal with the game as he tries to make a diligent move in the crazy world they are now living in. Amid it all, Tariq needs to figure out himself as he still tries to accept the truth that he is ending up being like his father.

Sadly, among all the things he wants to happen, this is something that he cannot accept. Can he control it? Tariq will be in a battle against himself in "Power Book II: Ghost" Season 2 and fans need to see how he will handle all of these things.
