"Demon Slayer" Season 2 has officially introduced its main villain, the latest Upper Six Demon. It looks like this one is not someone Tanjiro and the gang shall mess up with, but the demon slayers will not surely back down.

Nezuko continued her fight against Daki, but things seemed to turn out for the worse. Instead of defeating the vixen, she remained alive and even got the help of her brother, Gyutaro, who fans might see more of in "Demon Slayer" Season 2.

Daki is not living on her own. She remains alive by existing in tandem with her brother.

After sustaining an injury, Gyutaro comes to her rescue and he looks every inch terrifying. Anime-only fans are surely surprised by this new big bad's coming, Comicbook noted.

Though his physical appearance makes him look weak, Gyutaro possesses an incredible power that makes him a formidable foe. He is the real reason Daki has been part of the Upper Six.

His incredible power shall be feared and even Tengen admits he is "something wild." With that being said, fans can expect Gyutaro to bring all kinds of trouble in "Demon Slayer" Season 2.

As part of the Upper Six, the demonic siblings will give the demon slayers a hard time. As they do not have the pass to the city and Tengen and Tanjiro are on their way, viewers may witness an intense fight between these four like no other.

Meanwhile, as the anime continues, two huge events are coming in fans' way this 2022, per CBR. The franchise's official website reveals that the show's producers will be holding two events related to the anime series.

They will also announce more details about the anime's current arc, the Entertainment District arc. The special will feature the appearance of Tanjiro's voice actor, Natsuki Hanae, and the producer, Yuma Takahashi.

In addition, the special will also look back on the events of the second season. Fans have been wondering how many episodes the current season has after iQIYI listed it to have 18 episodes, which are eight episodes shorter than the first season.

The first seven episodes featured the televised recut of the events of the "Mugen Train" movie. Alternatively, the rest of the said 18 episodes would be about the Entertainment District arc.

As the 14th episode dropped on Jan. 16 and iQIYI's episode count was correct, it meant the second season was about to reach its ending. So, does the upcoming special announcement about the series have something to do about it?

"Demon Slayer" Season 2 drops new episodes every Sunday.
