"Attack on Titan" Season 4 continues and a major update comes after the franchise unveils the two upcoming episodes' titles for Episodes 3 and 4. After an explosive return, it looks like the second part of the final season will never be short of intense happenings.
"Attack on Titan" Season 4 is now down to its last 10 episodes after news emerged that the second cour will only have 12 episodes. With that being said, the revelation of Episodes 3 and 4's titles only makes the wait much thrilling.
The upcoming episodes' titles come from the fan site AttackOnFans, one of the series's biggest fan sites. It reveals the next two titles from the franchise's official website in Japan.
Comicbook noted Episode 3 would be titled "Two Brothers," while Episode 4 would be called "Memories of the Future." So, what do these two titles mean?
Manga readers probably have an idea of what these titles allude to. After the end of Hajime Isayama's manga series last year, many may know what the final season will be all about.
As the title suggests, Episode 3 may be about Zeke and Eren and finally unite as planned. Alternatively, Episode 4's title is somehow a little mysterious.
However, it is said to come straight from the manga's Chapter 121. It may feature the continuation of Eren and Zeke's travel through Grisha's memories.
It is a dark episode that reveals some of the major secrets about Eren's influence on Titan's history. On the other hand, Zeke will have secrets of his own to tell.
As many think the Yeager brothers will work as one, another thing will happen. So, this only means that the final season still has a lot of loose ends to tie up.
Of course, this includes uncovering the truth about Ymir and how she managed to subjugate the Titans. There are also a lot of character storylines that it has to give proper conclusions.
It only means that the series has to "keep some elements to a bare minimum," including the long character monologues, per We Got This Covered. Though the two revealed titles did not give much about what would come, it is enough to give an idea of what will happen next.
"Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2 Episodes 3 and 4 will come out on Jan. 24 and Jan. 31, respectively. The latest episode, Episode 2 titled "Sneak Attack," drops on Monday, Jan. 17.
