Royal fans are now accusing Kate Middleton of copying Meghan Markle after announcing reading a children's story on TV. Prince William's wife will be gracing the "CBeebies Bedtime Story," joining the list of celebrities who appear on the show.

However, it can be remembered that Meghan Markle did the same for Save The Children back in 2020. So, is Kate Middleton copying the Duchess of Sussex's move?

The News noted that the mother-of-three would be reading one of her favorite children's books, "The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark," by Jill Tomlinson. She, reportedly, chose this story as it reflects this year's Children's Mental Health Week theme, which is Growing Together.

The celebration will run until Sunday, Feb. 13. This move will put the Duchess of Cambridge in line with the high-profile celebrities who have already graced the TV program, like Tom Hardy, Reese Witherspoon, Ed Sheeran and Dolly Parton.

However, despite the initiative, some royal fans are calling Kate Middleton "copy Kate" for doing the same thing Prince Harry's wife does. Others even ask the palace to "take her to one side" and stop her from embarrassing the royal family for doing things like this.

"Meghan's copycat but talentless," another said. However, one royal fan believed the future queen consort is taking some advice from the former actress, knowing she is "more successful on the PR front."

It is not new to many that the Sussexes have made a number of deals with topped media companies, like Spotify and Netflix, after they left their senior royal roles. Just like Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle also read stories for children.

For starters, in celebration of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor's first birthday in 2020, his mom and dad released an adorable video of the former "Suits" star reading a story to her son, Harper's Bazaar noted. This didn't only mark the kid's birthday celebration. It was also to help raise money for Save the Children.

She read one of her firstborn's favorite books, "Duck! Rabbit?" The young boy could be seen sitting on her lap and trying to turn the book's pages as she read.

The clip was shared on the Save the Children Instagram page in support of the charity's Save with Stories initiative. It aimed to help kids who were hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic--not just in the U.K. but all over the world.

The couple's spokesperson revealed the family joined the campaign across the U.S. and the U.K. to help bring more support to children in need and impacted by the global health crisis. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry both wanted to raise awareness to show the urgency of "bringing food and learning resources" to kids worldwide.
