JYP Entertainment announced TWICE would be canceling all their promotions during their U.S. tour due to the threat of COVID-19. So, what was fans' reaction to it?

Fortunately, fans are quite understanding of the situation. In fact, many of them are considering TWICE's safety amid the ongoing threat of COVID-19.

In a thread on Twitter, they're still thankful that the girls will continue their concert, albeit not holding a meet-and-greet. For starters, JYP Entertainment made a formal announcement on Tuesday, Feb. 15, about the promotions' cancellations.

This includes a wide variety of opportunities for meet and greets that the group had planned during their U.S. tour, All Kpop noted. The label thanked everyone for their warm welcome as Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu arrived in the international country.

The company knew it was the chance for the waiting fans to meet the hitmakers behind the hit song "The Feels," but the severity of the virus' situation had changed its plans. Hence, they were left with no option but to cancel all promotions, putting the artists' health as the top priority.

However, it promised to continue the tour in the safest way possible. Both Twice and JYP were saddened and sorry about the news, but they had to come up with this decision to successfully push the tour schedule through.

It, then, asked everyone's kind and deepest understanding so that they could all safely enjoy the concert. With that being said, the group of nine is now excited to perform for their fans. They also ask them to take care and stay healthy.

Elsewhere, Twice was seen at Incheon International Airport on Sunday, Feb. 13, getting ready to fly to Los Angeles to begin their North American leg of their fourth world tour, "III." The tour would start on Feb. 15 and 16 at the Forum in Los Angeles and move to Oakland, Forth Worth, Atlanta and Belmont Park.

After their U.S. tour, Twice will begin their Japan tour in April with two shows at the Tokyo Dome. So, fans started to celebrate by making the hashtag #HaveASafeFlightTWICE trend, wishing the girls safe travels.

Meanwhile, as many foresee TWICE's concert to be successful, it may mean double celebration for the group as their album "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" rounded out the top 15 in its 12th week on the World Albums chart, Soompi reported. The group gets in line with fellow K-pop groups BTS, BLACKPINK, NCT, TXT, ENHYPEN and ITZY.
