"One Piece" Episode 1013 may reveal more about Yamato and Ace's past and show the surprising connection between the two. Titled "Yamato's Past! The Man Who Came for an Emperor of the Sea!" it seems to suggest delving into not just the heir's story, but into his father, Kaido, as well.
One of the series' most intriguing characters is Yamato after being introduced late in the arc as Kaido's son. But despite being the child of the villain, she has different beliefs and fans will know more of her in "One Piece" Episode 1013.
Comicbook revealed Yamato had a very important connection with Ace from the past. So, fans will get to see more of the Fire Fist, too,
The new episode preview teases a deeper look at Yamato and Ace's pasts. O-Tama and Yamato revealed Ace didn't only leave a major impact on Wano back in the day.
He also ensured that the two of them would always be remembered all those years. This is said to be why Yamato managed to form an instant connection with Luffy.
The manga didn't mostly focus on Ace's story. Though it features a little about Yamato's past, "One Piece" Episode 1013 may line up with the manga's revelation of their origins--only that it will go a little further for Ace's past.
Meanwhile, in "One Piece" Episode 1012, Chopper told everyone he would create an antidote to save the allies and the enemies, per EpicStream. However, the Straw Hats and the samurai found it hard to find fire for everyone who already had the Ice Oni virus.
Fortunately, Marco arrived and used his flames to warm everyone and buy Chopper more time to create an antidote. He also offered to fly Zoro to the rooftop.
But the Straw Hat Pirates also wanted to protect Chopper, knowing Queen told the Beast Pirates the doctor was only tricking them. So, she asked her men to attack Chopper and retrieve the antidote.
Hyogoro and the rest of the samurai stayed to look after Chopper. Apoo arrived to fight for the antidote, but Drake switched places and took him down.
Elsewhere, Jimbei and Luffy continued to make their way to the rooftop while looking for Sanji. They used their Hakis and learned several enemies were surrounding them.
Jimbei, then, told Luffy to go ahead and face Kaido. In addition, Yamato decided to go to the storehouse to rest while Momonosuke noticed a dragon statue.
Yamato revealed the dragon was once placed at the entrance, but it broke after his friend tried to kill Kaido and destroyed it.
That friend was later revealed as Ace. What happens from here can be seen when "One Piece" Chapter 1013 drops on Sunday, March 6.
