Fans are now waiting for BLACKPINK's comeback that is about to happen this year. Though YG Entertainment remains mum about Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa's exact return, fans see several hints that prove it will soon happen.

It has been said BLACKPINK is about to make a comeback this year. In fact, a number of hints have been dropped about their return, from Somi's accidental song leak to YG's statement to Jennie and Jisoo's confirmation.

In January, Jisoo revealed the group was going to be "coming back soon" on WeVerse. Though she didn't tell if it was the comeback fans were hoping for, many assumed it was.

At the time, she said the girls would be "back soon to make a lot of special memories with the BLINKs." She even added they would going to be together for a long time.

In addition, Somi seemed to accidentally leak the comeback track of the K-pop idols during her Instagram live. She walked into a studio where an unknown song was playing and a familiar voice was heard.

Many believed the singer sounded like Jennie, making them think it was a new song from the group. To top all the hints, YG seems to make a huge giveaway about the girls' return, Koreaboo noted.

In a statement released on Monday, March 7, about Rosé's health after contracting COVID-19, the label revealed the idol had been released from quarantine and now recovered. As the company detailed her recovery, it talked about the hitmakers' future.

It said it would feel grateful if fans would support Rosé and the rest of the BLACKPINK members as they would "return with a bright and lively image." Though it might be nothing for the company, fans believed it meant something else.

They believed the words "bright" and "lively" might be the concept of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa's comeback. So, does this mean they will be livelier and brighter this time?

Meanwhile, Jennie herself confirmed their return in her appearance on the Korean variety show "The Game Caterers 2." She said they would be making a comeback soon, per PhilStar.

Though she wasn't sure if she was allowed to say it, she would just do so because she was the only group member on the show at the time. "Please look forward to it," she said. By the looks of it, the much-awaited return of BLACKPINK is happening soon and fans can now celebrate.
