Prince Harry may cause an "outrage" if he attends the Oscars and not Prince Philip's, his grandfather, memorial service if a royal commentator's words are anything to go by. Earlier, Meghan Markle's husband said he would not make it at the royal family's event due to security reasons.

Prince Harry has an ongoing row against the U.K. government for refusing him police security during visits. However, some see this as not enough reason for him not to attend Prince Philip's memorial service on Tuesday, March 29.

Angela Mollard asked in her appearance on the Australian morning show "Sunrise" if the Duke of Sussex could really "turn up and stand on" the Oscars stage and not show up at the Duke of Edinburgh's memorial. "I've got a problem with that," she said, via The Sun.

She even stressed the prince would do all the "glory and handshaking with the celebrities" but not with his own family. Mollard's comments came after the father-of-two claimed he felt "unsafe" in his home country after losing his personality security after stepping down from his senior royal role with his wife, Meghan Markle, in January 2020.

Senior aides even revealed that Queen Elizabeth II was only informed of Prince Harry's absence 30 minutes before releasing his official statement about not attending Prince Philip's service. However, her grandson said he hoped to visit her "as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, the show's presenter, Kylie Gillies, asked what was the controversial prince was thinking, deciding not to attend his grandfather's memorial. She even said he should leave Meghan Markle at the Oscars.

Another royal commentator, Matt de Groot, Prince Harry's security demands might be why his decision not to attend Prince Philip's service, along with some "bad advice," per Express.

He said the Sussexes spent one-half of their lives talking about wanting some privacy and being determined to stay away from the public eye. Alternatively, the other half was spent selling their story to the highest bidder and wanting to step away from the royal family.

Now, Prince Harry wanted royal protection, but Groot said he seemed not to realize he could go to the U.K. and hire his own security. If nothing else would work, he even suggested he could buy his own protection.

Groot continued every move, advice, and statement that Prince Harry makes publicly takes him further away from the guy everyone thought would save the royal family. All he does is make blunder after blunder, thinking he's only being given bad advice, being petty and making a bad choice that put him in the spotlight today.
