Son Ye Jin proved she's a queen during her wedding to Hyun Bin on Thursday, March 31. The Queen of K-Drama donned several wedding dresses for her special event and she exuded real elegance and class.
Before the wedding officially took place, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin's agencies released a couple of wedding photos. They revealed the "Thirty-Nine" star's wedding dresses, making the 40-year-old actress look like a real princess.
In the first snap, the couple looked very happy. The 39-year-old actor was wearing an off-white tuxedo, while his bride appeared stunning in her Elie Saab sleeveless dress, AllKpop reported.
Elie Saab has been known as one of the most sought-after brands by Middle Eastern conglomerates and Hollywood stars. It is also known as the Valentino of the Middle East, supported by the likes of Melania Trump and Kate Middleton.
This wedding dress has a tag price of a whopping 80 million KRW or $65,864. It is part of the 2022 Fall Winter Bridal Collection and it effortlessly gets everyone's attention with its luxurious design, with added flower decorations to the square neckline.
Son Ye Jin also donned a Vera Wang off-the-shoulder wedding dress from the Spring 2020 Bridal Collection. It was customized to suit the "Something in the Rain" star's style.
Koreaboo revealed it originally had a huge flower applique and sheer bodice, but they made it fully covered with white material and much more minimalistic. Sources revealed this out cost 10 million KRW or about $9,000.
Meanwhile, one of the final dresses Son Ye Jin donned was from Valentino. As the said luxurious brand ambassador, it was quite impossible not to see her in its beautiful piece on her special day.
In fact, she did a photoshoot earlier this month, donning a stunning dress from Pierpaolo Piccioli's Valentino Pre-Fall 2022 collection. However, as this collection has yet to be officially released, its details remain a mystery.
Anyhow, what is seen is it has a sheer top with floral embroideries. It was previously confirmed that Mira Zwillinger would make Son Ye Jin's wedding dress.
Some said the gown was part of the Spring/Summer 2022 collection. She has been known for creating custom dresses with a starting price of $11,000. However, the dress, overskirt and top are all sold separately.
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin held a private ceremony at Aston House, Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul. Some of the biggest names in South Korea's entertainment scene were there, celebrating their love for each other.
