Netflix has yet to confirm the coming of "Sweet Home" Season 2, but several witnesses have come out to prove the next installment is now in the works. Allegedly, the filming for the second season has started, led by Song Kang himself.

One netizen revealed that he saw the production of "Sweet Home" Season 2. It allegedly took place at The Hyundai, which was closed at the time.

The netizen even posted some photos to prove his claim, AllKpop noted. He revealed a broken car and extras dressed as armed police were present during the filming.

"They were filming something and I think it was Song Kang who was filming," he said. A different netizen also posted a photo of a truck filled with boxes labeled with "Sweet Home II."

Just like the first netizen, this one assumed "Sweet Home" Season 2 had started filming over the weekend. Other social media users also left comments on the post, saying they had seen Song Kang and Jee Jin Wook on the set.

It was previously reported that Song Kang was already in talks to reprise his role in the apocalyptic drama. Now it looks like he finally agreed if these claims are anything to go by.

So, what will happen in the series' second season? The series' director Eung Bok said, via NME, that he wanted to be faithful to the original webtoon it was based on.

However, it couldn't be denied that the first season featured some changes that were not part of the source material, like the new characters and some tweaks in the storyline.

In the final moments of the last season, Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook) died, swimming in his own blood after trying to help Yu Ri (Go Yoon Jung). In the end, Cha Hyun Soo woke up inside the military van driven by Sang Wook.

How did that happen? What's On Netflix noted San Wook might have undergone his own metamorphosis and is currently in the Golden Hour before he transforms into a monster.

In addition, the survivors' next home may not be as safe as they expect it to be. Though they may be out of harm's way, it may not take that long.

Eun Hyuk (Lee Do Hyun) made it clear that the military couldn't guarantee safety. They have no way to stop the survivors from turning into monsters.

Meanwhile, though it has been more than a year since the first season ended, Netflix is yet to announce when "Sweet Home" Season 2 will be out.
