People have been pitting Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton against each other since time immemorial. However, if there is one thing that the public has often compared them to one another, it is their style and fashion.

Meghan Markle recently wowed the world with her impeccable style at the recent Invictus Games, while Kate Middleton continuously stuns everyone with her fashion as she goes out and about. Now, a known celebrity stylist reveals Prince Harry's wife follows the same fashion rules the Duchess of Cambridge has.

Karen Williams, "100% Hotter" and "Celebrity 100% Hotter" host, told Express the Duchess of Sussex exercises the same fashion rules Prince William's wife has, from classic to modern to elegant. "She does push her style a tad more than Kate, though--this is in line with her personality," she said.

Some of the former actress' style staples include simple white shirts, sharp wool coats, stilettoes and chic ballet flats. She is also fond of shorter hems and shift-style dresses to proudly show off her legs, which she reportedly describes to her agents as "long as a mile."

Williams revealed any woman could easily recreate her look by buying the exact pieces or with designer dupes. All they have to do is look after the details, colors and cuts of her clothes.

Kate Middleton, on the other hand, loves to keep things simple and never overcomplicates them. Less is more for the future queen consort, considering she is a classic dresser.

Some of the stuff that will never be out of her closet are chic shirts and jeans, rollnecks and stylish coats. With their irreproachable styles, the late Princess Diana should have been very proud of her daughters-in-law, per Marie Claire.

Aside from their style, they also exude incredible poise as two of the world's most high-profile and scrutinized personalities.

The former "Suits" star also uses her wardrobe to highlight causes that are important to her. Daena Borrowman, jewellerybox marketing manager, said that the former actress manages to re-embrace her spectacular sense of style without any palace dress code that holds her back.

Meghan Markle has been backing feminist and female-led causes long before becoming a part of the royal family. But after becoming a duchess, she started to use her clothes jewelry to make strong statements of support to smaller designers from around the world. Of course, Kate Middleton is also known for doing the same.
