Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may let bygones be bygones and make peace with their family if the latest news is anything to go by. Allegedly, the Duke of Sussex wants to mend his relationship with Prince William, while the Duchess of Sussex's half-sister, Samantha Markle, wants to resolve their conflict.
Meghan Markle has now returned to their home of Montecito, California, to be with his kids, Archie and Lilibet, after spending the weekend with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in the Netherlands. Now that the sporting event will soon be over, will there be a double reconciliation?
Express noted Samantha Markle had expressed her interest in reconciling with her half-sister and "resolving the conflict between them." Despite trying to sue the former actress last month for defamation, she now wanted them to be adults and show they were bigger people.
She said that if the former "Suits" star were a humanitarian and compassionate person like she said she is, she should listen to her family and think about what they needed to do to "have a meeting of the minds."
This news comes after Prince Harry allegedly wants to "use a mediator" to help mend his relationship with his brother, Prince William. After a two-year feud, the two princes are believed to barely speak to each other and have an "incredibly strained" relationship.
This reportedly stems from Meghan Markle's alleged treatment of staff, their decision to leave their senior royal posts to move to the U.S. and their explosive TV interviews.
Amid all these, Vanity Fair's Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that the military veteran clearly wanted to sort things out with his sibling. She also said the Duke wanted to be in the U.K. to join the celebrations of the Platinum Jubilee of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and improve things with his family.
However, with his sticky relationship with Prince William, Nicholl added it might be harder to "get back on track." As sources said that they were not close at the moment, it had been very difficult for the two.
Prince Harry is still looking forward to being "back in the fold" in time for the Jubilee. With that said, he may return to his home country for the celebrations, which will be a four-day bank holiday that will run from June 2 to 5.
It has also been said Prince Harry is having some "friendly chats" with his father, Prince Charles, and hopes to visit the U.K. later this year. However, Daily Mail noted it remains to be seen if he will be with Meghan Markle and their kids, Archie and Lilibet.
