Hollywood Life noted Natasha Bassett is a 29-year-old actress who received her breakthrough when she played the role of Britney Spears in the early #FreeBritney days in 2017 in a movie for Lifetime.
Though the TV movie was met with criticisms, it could not be denied that it was her breakout role. She was 23 at the time.
She then received her big role in the upcoming Elvis biopic, playing the role of Elvis Presley's first girlfriend, Dixie Locke. She will be playing opposite Austin Butler, who plays Elvis himself, and the A-list actor Tom Hanks as the King of Rock 'n' Roll's renowned manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
Her part in the movie and probably her romance with Elon Musk recently made her the front and center at the Cannes Film Festival. However, instead of the tech genius, she was with his mother, Maye Musk, 74, as her date.
An insider told the publication that Natasha Bassett had already developed a solid bond with Maye Musk. Knowing that his mother is the most important person in his life, it means so much to him that his mom adores his new girlfriend.
The Aussie beauty was reportedly first spotted leaving the Tesla CEO's private jet in February, trying to hide her identity by wearing a long black trench coat and sunglasses. However, a source close to the business magnate revealed that the mystery woman was indeed Natasha Bassett.
They are said to be dating for a couple of months, but they are already in a monogamous relationship. The insider added that they are very much into each other and spend a lot of time together.
Just Jared added that the two were even spotted enjoying lunch at the Chevel Blanc Hotel in St. Tropez, France, over the weekend. In the photos obtained by The Daily Mail, they were seen sipping rose and snacking on French fries while eating on the patio outside of the restaurant.
After that, the new couple was said to have been seen walking along the beach. Grimes confirmed in March that she and Elon Musk had broken up in September 2021, before they welcomed their second child, Exa Dark Sideræl, in December 2021 via surrogate.
