Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released official photos of their daughter, Lilibet, from her first birthday on June 4. However, rumors have it Queen Elizabeth II refused the Sussexes' request to have a photographer take a photo of their youngest child with her great-grandmother.

Queen Elizabeth reportedly had a two-word response to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's pleas to let a photographer capture the moment Her Majesty met Lilibet for the first time. Allegedly, the monarch told them "no chance."

On Thursday, June 2, the two finally met when the family returned to the U.K. for the Platinum Jubilee. Express noted the controversial couple was said to want a private photographer present at the meeting, but there were fears that they would share the pictures with U.S. TV networks.

So, the 14 Commonwealth realms' leader seemed not to give them a chance at all. Royal expert Omid Scobie, who co-authored "Finding Freedom," claimed the Queen met Lilibet privately on more than one occasion.

For starters, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended Queen Elizabeth's thanksgiving service at St. Paul's last Friday, June 3, along with other royal family members. When they returned to the U.K, the pair was with their kids, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.

Lilibet celebrated her first birthday in her dad's home country, though it wasn't revealed if her great-grandmother attended the event. A source told The Sun the celebration was lovely and had had everything expected from a child's party.

However, it didn't include a "formal entertainment." It was meant to be "relaxed and casual" celebrations, where people could come and go as they pleased.

It was also seen as the perfect opportunity for other young royals to meet Lilibet for the first time. Meanwhile, in the official snaps Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released, their daughter could be seen as a pale-skinned redhead.

In fact, Daily Mail, via The Irish Times, described her as "daddy's little cutie." Alternatively, one netizen said the "red hair gene was strong," while another claimed the former actress was only a vessel as the kid looked like her dad.

However, it looked like negative reactions couldn't be helped. Some asked why the child had no legs, considering she seemed to be kneeling on the grass while her blue, flowy dress concealed her feet.

Others counted her teeth, while some wanted to see her birth certificate to see if she was indeed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's child.
