UP10TION's Kim Woo Seok addressed the issues about how he handled his pets. There's an online debate about him adopting several animals all at once after already acquiring two dogs, Dda Dda and Ppo Ppo.
Kim Woo Seok reportedly adopted another pet and added a cat to his home, despite being allergic to felines. Hence, fans can't help but raise their concern over adopting several pets in a short period of time.
AllKpop noted the actor started adopting in 2020. Though it wasn't revealed how many pets he now has, fans wonder how he handles them all.
The concerns started to grow when netizens saw how he handled his dogs in a "rough manner," like grabbing them by the front paws. They were even worried for his Pomeranian, knowing this breed had weak joints, claiming his rough handling could cause serious health issues for the pup.
In addition, the K-pop star admitted that his manager mostly looked after his dogs, from grooming to cleaning. With that said, many started to criticize the idol for adopting pets that he couldn't take care of himself.
They even shared a before-and-after photo of his Pomeranian, which looked well-groomed with fluffy hair at first. Later, its fur started to look less fluffy and rather scruffy.
Finally, Kim Woo Seok addressed the issue on the Bubble app. He said he was putting his best effort into being aware of the situation and giving a second thought to his wrongdoings and criticisms.
"I will put more effort and will study more," he said. "I'll try to study more so that the babies can also be happier!"
In lighter news, Kim Woo Seok made his much-awaited music comeback in March by releasing his mini-album, "3RD DESIRE [Reve]," with a music video for the title track, per Soompi. The track list included "Ghostin'," "Switch," "What Mode Can I Do," "Shame," "Satisfied" and a Korean-titled song.
He first teased his comeback in February after he reportedly finished filming his new music video. At the time, he was already in the post-production stage of his album.
His agency, TOP Media, then confirmed the news, announcing its talent was making a comeback with a new song.
Kim Woo Seok released his first solo album, "1ST DESIRE [GREED]," in 2020. His second album, "2ND DESIRE [TASTY]," came in 2021. In addition, he also impressed fans with his incredible acting in the fantasy drama "Bulgasal."
