The royal family may have to create a new role for Prince Andrew, as the Duke of York is reportedly gearing for a comeback. After the huge sexual assault scandal that marred the royal family due to his case filed by Virginia Giuffre, forcing him to step down as a senior royal, it looks like he now wants to return to his public life.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed Prince Andrew's planned return would get him "nowhere." In fact, he wanted the troubled royal family member to accept that he had "no future public role" and the only role he could have from the Firm was "managing royal estates."

The royal expert told Express the 62-year-old royal is now in the background. Though more adverse publicity surrounds him, he gets no public support.

Fitzwilliams urged him to accept that he already had no future public role at his age. He even claimed the royal family had to create a specific part for him.

Prince Andrew was supposed to attend the recent Garter Day, but it was met with controversy, making him remain out of sight. Allegedly, the royal family decided to limit his appearance to the lunch and investiture ceremony to avoid much attention.

Rumors have it Prince Charles and Prince William have lobbied Queen Elizabeth about her alleged favorite son's appearance on Garter Day. The Duke of Cambridge reportedly warned his grandmother that he would not attend the event if his uncle were there.

On the contrary, another royal expert Neil Sean told Fox News Digital, via Yahoo! News, that it was Prince Andrew who was skeptical about making public appearances knowing the tabloids would be after him. Though he felt he should be reinstated and his positions recognized and respected, he allegedly overturned Queen Elizabeth's alleged invitation to return to his royal duties to avoid a bad feeling among his family members.

He wanted the recent Garter Day to be about Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, knowing she's the Royal Lady of the Order of the Garter. In fact, Sean claimed that the true story was he "quietly and without fuss agreed" not to attend the event.

He explained that Prince Andrew removed himself from the background because he wanted to do what was right for the monarchy and his mother. "But that is not a headline seller, is it?" he asked. However, some royal experts insisted there were other reasons behind his absence.
