It looks like the end of "Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" manga is coming near, following the conclusion of its anime version's third season. Though a fourth season is surely coming, its source material will soon be in its final days.

A new report emerged that "Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" manga is nearing its end. As the anime's third season wrapped up the Cultural Festival arc, the manga was already passed that and had shown much bigger developments involving the two protagonists, Kaguya and Miyuki.

Rumors about the manga's ending started swirling last fall. Comicbook noted that the series would kick off its final arc and the recently released chapters proved so.

In an updated report by Twitter user @MangaMoguraRE, the manga will end after 14 more chapters, with a planned 28 volumes in total. Though it may still take a while before it officially ends, it can't be denied that the conclusion is fast approaching.

This report seems true, as the latest chapters of the manga seem to hint at the end. As the third season teased Shirogane's preparations to study at Stanford University in the U.S., the manga shows his nearing departure.

The series' main characters are starting to accept that they will be separating shortly in the "Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" manga. This storyline may be seen in the upcoming "Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" Season 4.

Fortunately, the coming of the fourth season has been formally announced after the third season finale. The franchise's official website and Twitter account revealed the series would be getting a new anime.

However, the announcement doesn't come with a format or a release window, though more details are promised to arrive at a later date, per Coming Soon. Thankfully, it comes as soon as the third season ended on Friday, June 24, not letting fans wait in agony if there will be a fourth season.

After that, a special "Kaguya Day" project was also confirmed and it would run for 24 hours and highlight the series' hardworking cast and staff while looking back on the successful seasons of the show.

Aside from the announcement, the notice also comes with a teaser image. "The proudly privileged top two students of an elite school each make it their mission to be the first to extract a confession of love from the other," the series' official synopsis.

Fans can stream the anime on Funimation, while "Kaguya-Sama: Love is War" manga is about to drop its 268th chapter on Friday, July 1.
