Netflix has yet to greenlight "The Umbrella Academy" Season 4, but there are already great expectations for a new season. In fact, its creator and showrunner Steve Blackman already has several ideas for what will come next that may also be the series' end.

Blackman has reportedly pitched "The Umbrella Academy" Season 4 to Netflix, though the latter is yet to approve it. But as the series has become the No. 1 most-watched show on the streaming giant, it's quite impossible that it won't be renewed.

However, he told TheWrap the fourth season would be going toward "an endgame." "I think at a certain point, I'm not sure where we'd go after Season 4," he explained.

With that said, Blackman stressed they had to be careful, though he had already set a plan for next year, per CNet.

He would continuously tread on the same ground that they had before. Though he admitted that it was a challenge to create a new way to overturn the current storyline, they already had an idea of how to do that.

But Blackman believed that if they got the chance to do "The Umbrella Academy" Season 4, it would be a great ending for the series.

He stressed that it didn't mean he couldn't do more, but it would be "very satisfying" for the audience. So, what would happen in the new season?

Robert Sheehan, who plays the role of Klaus, aka Number Four, has hinted at his character's arc for the possible new season. The third season started with the Hargreeves kids finding themselves in a different timeline where their father, Reginald (Colm Feore), had decided to adopt children with superhero abilities, later known as The Sparrow Academy.

In the final twist, the surviving members of The Umbrella Academy and the Sparrow Academy were in another new timeline where their powers couldn't work. With this turn of events, Sheehan believed Klaus might return to his old, self-destructive self in "The Umbrella Academy" Season 4 to cope with losing his powers.

He told TheWrap that it could be sure that at the start of the new season, Klaus would return to his "very destructive sorts of self-piteous mindsets." He might give up after doing all the hard work for nothing and that narrative might re-establish itself in his head.

So, his character might find a way to love himself despite losing his power. "That'll be the next challenge for Klaus, I think," he said.

So far, there are no words yet on when "The Umbrella Academy" Season 4 will be out.
