If there's one project fans want BTS's Jin to see doing, it's acting. Now, netizens make him a trend on social media after a publication wrongly translates Kim Nam Gil's words into "working" with the idol instead of being "acquainted" with him.

Despite not debuting on the big or small screen, fans have been looking forward to seeing Jin acting. So, will he now have an acting job with Kim Nam Gil?

The 29-year-old is one of the most in-demand celebrities who many look forward to starting an acting career. He, too, is very well known in the acting industry and even respected by senior actors, like Kim Nam Gil, per AllKpop.

The "Through the Darkness" star always talks about Jin with much appreciation. In fact, he calls him "Our Jinnie" and recognizes the pure talent he was born with, strongly believing that he will a great actor.

Millions probably want to see him on a TV series or in a movie and Kim Nam Gil himself can't wait for it to happen. So, fans can't help but go crazy when he said in his interview with Cosmopolitan Korea that he's "working with BTS's Jin."

The revelation made the K-pop star trend on social media, sitting at No. 6 worldwide. However, it turned out his words were just mistranslated and the publication edited it to "I'm acquainted with BTS's Jin."

But, the correction didn't deem fans hope to see Jin's acting debut, considering the trend and rumor that earned 30,000 likes on Instagram. Many are surely waiting for it to happen.

No wonder Jin has been named one of the most talked-about idols in the acting agencies, receiving multiple offers from filming directors, among others. However, he reportedly refuses these offers, though he once said he wanted to debut as an actor instead of a K-pop artist.

"I wanted to become an actor at first because I would learn and experience a lot of different things depending on the roles I get," he said during the BTS's Festa, per India Today. Hopefully, it will finally happen as he's about to do solo activities while BTS is on a hiatus.

Meanwhile, BTS's Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook announced their upcoming collaboration with the international producer Benny Blanco, AllKpop cited. The boys released a teaser with Blanco, who was asking to join the group and promising he could do well. However, BTS refused and said they could make an amazing track together, hinting at their collaboration.
