Kate Middleton is allegedly taking the high road. Even though the Duchess of Cambridge will soon travel to the United States for an engagement alongside Prince William, she has no plans to meet up with the Sussexes to avoid any drama that they might cause.
An unnamed source told Woman's Day that one of the things that Middleton learned as a royal is to never react to dubious rumors and family-related drama. Avoiding Markle and Prince Harry also means that the couple could no longer push her and Prince William around.
"Adding to Kate's increasing angst is said to be the fact that Harry and Meghan will be a little too close during the trip. In the coming weeks, the Cambridge family are set to make a move to the queen's Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate, where their new home will just be 800 meters from Frogmore Cottage, where the Sussexes are tipped to be staying," the source said.
The source said that Prince William is also trying to make sure that his wife will no longer be bossed around by Prince Harry and Markle.
"Kate's suffered enough and has been dragged through the mud because of Meghan. While they're in England, Kate will have the upper hand," the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid's claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there's no proof that Middleton has been greatly affected by the drama of the Sussexes to the point that she wants to suddenly take control of things.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been trained not to comment on personal matters, especially when they are not true. As of late, there's no proof that Middleton and Prince William also want to make sure that the Sussexes cannot disturb them when they are in the United Kingdom.
Royal experts already confirmed that the Sussexes would not reunite with the Cambridges during their visit. In the same way, the Cambridges wouldn't also visit the Sussexes when they travel to the United States for their engagements.
Since Prince Harry and Markle no longer work as senior royals, there's no way for them to reunite with the Cambridges on a professional level. And since the Sussexes and the Cambridges are still at odds with each other, this means that they won't also reunite privately.
