A royal commentator believes Meghan Markle is referring to her dad, Thomas Markle, while talking about the rift between Prince Harry and Prince Charles in the latest episode of her podcast. As many believe the Duchess of Sussex is talking about her husband's dad, it quickly results in a number of headlines.

In fact, another royal commentator claimed that the Sussexes have "no way back" for any reconciliation with Prince Charles after Meghan Markle's revelation. Allegedly, the latest comments might badly affect the heir apparent.

The former actress claimed that the Duke of Sussex told him, "I lost my dad in this process." "It doesn't have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that's his decision," she explained, via Express.

As it was strongly believed that she was referring to the Prince of Wales, royal commentator Russell Myers founds her comments to be "severely damaging and distressing" to the future king.

He then revealed that Princess Diana's former husband offered the controversial couple an olive branch several times, from coming and staying at his house to security. However, Myers alleged that the bridges are already burned, so there would be "absolutely no way back from them."

Alternatively, royal commentator Omid Scobie stressed that Meghan Markle was referring to her own dad, not Prince Charles. He said there seemed to be confusion in some headlines about her The Cut interview.

By the way that he understood it, Prince Harry was referring to his wife's loss of her own dad, and the former "Suits" star was saying that she didn't want the father of her two kids, Archie and Lilibet, to lose his.

A source told Page Six the same, while a highly placed royal insider added that Prince Harry hadn't broken up with his dad. In fact, Prince Charles gave them millions when they left the U.K.

Meanwhile, in their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, Prince Harry revealed Prince Charles stopped taking his calls regarding the conversations about his royal exit. He added that royals "literally" cut him off financially after stepping down as a senior working royal in January 2020, alleging his dad and brother, Prince William, were "trapped" in their royal roles.

A senior Clarence House spokesman claimed that Prince Charles allocated a "substantial sum" to support Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's transition to become financially independent. However, the funding reportedly stopped in the summer of 2020.
