Aside from verbal and physical abuse, OMEGA X also reportedly experienced sexual abuse, and the group's legal representative has evidence to prove it. By the looks of it, the 11-piece band has suffered a lot from their agency, SPIRE Entertainment, and its former CEO.

The controversy began when fans witnessed how the CEO verbally and physically abused OMEGA X after their concert in Los Angeles last month. However, it looks like it's not the only violence they've suffered.

In an interview with "CBS No Cut News," via AllKpop, on Monday, November 14, the group's legal representative, attorney Noh Jeong, saw his clients' case as a story about young people who were "hostage and abused" by reaching their dreams.

To succeed, they had to face "assault, intimidation, and sexual harassment." He added that the band members, Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan, have all suffered "gaslighting."

Of course, this affects them, worrying and scaring them after being abused. Addressing the sexual abuse case, Noh Jeong revealed they had video evidence for it.

If men only committed sexual harassment against women in the past. Now, anyone with a higher position can commit a crime if they're in power, regardless of gender, violating human dignity.

That said, the lawyer stressed that the agency had neglected its duty to protect OMEGA X under the standard contract, in which there was a clause about not violating the artists' human rights. SPIRE was obligated to protect the boys, but it didn't do so.

Meanwhile, OMEGA X will be holding a press conference on Wednesday, November 16, at the Seoul Bar Association building in the Seocho area of Seoul to address the issues surrounding them.

The controversy began when fans shared a video of the group being abused by the SPIRE CEO online after their U.S. concert for 20 days. The female boss screamed at the members and even physically pulled one of them to the ground.

There were also reports that the group was forced to perform on stage even if they were sick with COVID-19. In addition, there were claims that they were called to attend drinking parties, where there was physical contact and touching.

SPIRE then released an apology statement and announced that the CEO had already resigned. However, OMEGA X has decided not to continue their contract with the company and is now preparing to take legal action. Despite what happened, they assured fans they would continue to chase their dreams.
