It has been the royal family's unofficial mantra to stay silent: "never complain, never explain." But amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries "Harry & Meghan," King Charles III may finally break his silence and respond to the Sussexes' claims if it's a direct hit to his wife, Camilla, Queen Consort.

King Charles has been holding his tongue despite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's allegations against the monarchy. Royal expert Jennie Bond believes the monarch will stay mum whatever his son and daughter-in-law claim, but things may be different if they say something against Camilla.

She told OK!, via Express, that she thinks that the three things in the royal family's mind after the explosive docu's release are "despairing, dismayed, and disappointed."

She's confident that they're all "hurt and pained," and His Majesty himself is maybe "distraught" that this has been going on and on. She knows it's unlikely for the king to respond to the show unless there will be a direct hit on the queen.

Bond added that King Charles and his staff are aware that it will grow if they address one story. So, the best way to shut it down is to stay silent, and the longest-serving heir apparent knows that it will be more "graceful and dignified" if he responds to it in private.

Meanwhile, King Charles is reportedly facing a real problem regarding his upcoming coronation next year due to Prince Hary and Meghan Markle's Netflix series. Rumors have it that he may choose not to include the two in the historic event, though nothing is yet confirmed.

The coronation will be held at Westminster Abbey on May 6, 2023, and palace insiders are afraid that things may be awkward if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle come. Aside from the controversial docuseries, the Duke of Sussex's memoir, "Spare," is also set to be out on January 10.

Jonathan Sacerdoti told Express there were "no simple solutions" for King Charles. He believes it may be "very aggressive" not to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, though many may understand that decision.

It may also put the focus on the two, considering they have been cut out of the picture. "Part of the problem is that the royal family is damned if they do and damned if they don't," he said.

Sacerdoti added that the royals' have to balance their decision when comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. So, they have to make an ideal choice that will not extend the damage.
