After the explosive revelations that Prince Harry made in his memoir, "Spare," Prince William reportedly accepted that he might not have the chance to mend his relationship with his younger brother. Though there are rumors their father, King Charles III, is looking to fix their relationship, Kate Middleton's husband seems hopeless about it.

A royal insider claimed Prince William had already come to terms with the fact that he had "lost his little brother and quite possibly for life" after the publication of "Memoir." So, is there still a chance for these two to return their bond?

Meghan Markle's husband repeatedly hit out at the Prince of Wales and accused him of undermining his public posting and failing to accept his wife since they started their romance, per Express. With these claims, the royal source said the future king was horrified by all this, not even recognizing his sibling anymore.

The 40-year-old wanted to believe there was still a chance for "peace down the line," but it was hard in this situation. The fact that the younger prince had been "so rude and insulting" toward him, Kate Middleton, King Charles, and the monarchy itself was "just terrible."

That said, Prince William allegedly didn't see how Prince Harry could return to the fold in any way now. A different insider also told UsWeekly, that the former had no plans to speak to the ex-senior royal after considering he had already lost his younger brother.

The two princes' relationship had been icy even before the Sussexes confirmed their plans to step down from their senior working royal roles. Their feud even became more evident in early 2019 when they announced their household would no longer work jointly with Prince William and Kate Middleton's team at Kensington Palace.

After a year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their decision to step down from the Royal Foundation, which the former helped create with the Duke of Cornwall to set up their own organization, Sussex Royal.

Later, Prince Harry confirmed the rumors about his rocky relationship with Prince William when he told Tom Bradby in an interview that they were on "different paths." At the time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle then announced a six-week break from royal duty following their return from their South Africa tour to spend time with their son, Archie.

The pair had a temporary home on Vancouver Island back then to spend Christmas away from the royal family. Alternatively, King Charles reportedly wanted to heal the rift between his sons during his coronation to make a national and global celebration, not a circus, eyeing to broker peace talks in the coming weeks.
