Liden Films has dropped the official preview images and synopsis for "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 6, titled "Whip Up Morale." As Takemichi and Chifuyu try to save Taiju from Hakkai, who wants to kill him, the former mends a broken heart.
Takemichi and Chifuyu decided to work with Kisaki and Hanma to stop Hakkai from his evil plans to kill Taiju. However, Takemichi later learned of Hinata's connection with Kisaki, resulting in his decision to part ways with her upon her father's request. From here, the story of "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 6 will begin.
The new issue will continue where the previous chapter left off. Takemichi has called it quits with Hinata to protect her from any danger that comes with Takemichi's life as a gang member.
Back to their mission to save Taiju, Kisaki Tette gathers more information about Hakkai. He then learns through one of Taiju Shiba's associates that the Sixth Division Captain of the Second Generation Tokyo Manji Gang will visit the church alone on Christmas night to pray to God.
Hakkai may take advantage of his being alone-without anyone from the Black Dragon to accompany him-and perform his plan to kill his older brother. So to stop this, Takemichi, Chifuyu, Kisaki, and Hanma will go to church in "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 6.
Chifuyu, Kisaki, and Hanma will stop Taiju from entering the church, while Takemichi will carry out the original plan to convince Hakkai not to kill his sibling. In the preview images, Takemichi, Chifuyu, Kisaki, and Hanma wear their Tokyo Manji Gang sash.
This will be the first time Takemichi will wear the Toman sash as he performs his big initial mission after becoming Division 1 captain. As this has been worn by the former Division 1 captain Keisuke Baji before, it surely has an emotional value for both Takemichi and Chifuyu.
Meanwhile, "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 5 saw Kisaki strike a deal with Chifuyu and Takemichi to stop Hakkai from killing Taiju on Christmas night. Toman would do its best to prevent them from doing so, so it would be better if they did it on their own.
Chifuyu and Takemichi agreed to the deal and had Hanma and Kisaki's help carry out their mission. Takemichi then met Nao and Hinata the next day, and fans saw Hinata with Kisaki when Takemichi met her.
What happens from here can be seen when "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 6 drops on Sunday, February 12. It will internationally stream on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar, and Hulu in North America.
