"Boruto" Chapter 78 spoilers are out, hinting at the coming of the major time skip in the story. This jump will show Boruto finally receiving the scar he had in the story's first scene.
Kawaki will also reveal Naruto and Hinata's whereabouts in "Boruto" Chapter 78, while Momoshiki appears. By the looks of it, the next chapter will confirm several theories about the series.

The spoilers begin with Himawari returning home after her parents' disappearance. Everyone panics as Naruto and Hinata's chakra has also disappeared.
Eida confirms Kawaki is the one behind this, so Boruto comes rushing. Eida warns Boruto that Kawaki is planning to kill him again, surprising Sarada. She comes with Boruto, believing something dangerous may happen.
Boruto finds Kawaki, who reveals he has sent the former's parents to a dimension where time stops. However, Boruto may never see them again in "Boruto" Chapter 78.
A fight ensues between the two. Sarada later arrives and tries to stop Kawaki, but the latter warns her that he may kill her if she intervenes.
Boruto asks Sarada to leave, but she refuses. Kawaki prepares to kill Sarada, but Boruto stops him, receiving the scar he had at the beginning of the manga in the time skip.
The slash has injured Boruto's right eye. Sasuke, Shikamaru, Konohamaru, and Mitsuki arrive, and Shikamaru uses shadow paralysis on Kawaki while Mitsuki wraps his hands around him in "Boruto" Chapter 78.
Sasuke points his blade at Kawaki when Momoshiki suddenly takes over Boruto and helps Kawaki escape. Momoshiki tells Boruto he has already lost everything, just as he was told.
Meanwhile, "Boruto" Chapter 77 saw Kawaki holding Boruto by the collar, yelling at him. Sarada stopped them, but Kawaki shut her up, saying the Otsutsuku didn't care if they were doing something.
Shikamaru intervened and told Kawaki to think of Naruto. Kawaki left, and no one could trace him as he erased his chakra. Eida also went, and Shikamaru asked Naruto to look after her while he looked for Kawaki.
Kawaki went to Naruto and Hinata's home, wanting to talk to the shinobi. He later revealed he wanted to kill Boruto because he was an Otsutsuki so that he could protect him.
However, Naruto warned Kawaki that he would kill him first if he murdered his son. But Kawaki already wrapped him and Hinata in a vortex and made them disappear, saying they could kill him later after what he would be doing to Boruto.
"Boruto" Chapter 78 will be out on Monday, February 20.
