The real drama behind Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's wedding is not the alleged feud between the bride and Victoria Beckham but the wedding planning itself. As the drama continues, the two wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, who Nicola's father, Nelson Peltz, sued, responded with a countersuit this month, accusing the Peltz family of being demanding and communicating badly.

The billionaire businessman filed a lawsuit against Braghin and Grijalba in December 2022 after refusing to refund the $159,000 deposit he gave them. From there, the drama behind Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding unfolded.

The party planning duo alleged that the Peltzes hired another wedding planner nine days after working on the event. In the documents obtained by Us Weekly, the pair had overstated their "experience, expertise, and capability" of planning a wedding required of them, considering the couple's celebrity status and the coming of high-profile guests.

Nelson claimed they had missed meetings and used alcohol to relieve their stress over the event. At one point, Braghin even asked Nicola and her mom, Claudia Peltz, for tequila as she felt her head would explode.

So, in their countersuit, Braghin and Grijalba asked for over $50,000 in damages and made some accusations of their own. Thay claimed that the family was afraid that Brooklyn's mom, Victoria Beckham, would discover the problems with the wedding planning.

Hence, Claudia and Nicola insisted the former Spice Girls members shouldn't know anything about the issues surrounding her son's wedding-even the guest list errors. They also accused Nicola and Claudia of being an "admin disaster."

They said they tried to ask the two to review their guest lists, but they wouldn't cooperate. Despite that, the then-bride-to-be would repeatedly demand updates about the guest RSVPs.

Compared to the Beckhams' guest list, which they described as "fully organized with all contact information and ready to go," the Peltzes' was the opposite. Even Brooklyn's guest list wasn't updated and had missing addresses.

This made the task of creating a comprehensive and complete guest list impossible. Braghin and Grijalba added that Nicola and Paula wanted them to hide the true cost of the wedding from Nelson as he would be so mad and "kill her." There are claims Nelson paid over $100,000 with additional travel expenses for Nicola's hair and makeup for the wedding.

Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in April 2022, with Michelle Rago of Michelle Rago Destinations finishing the wedding planning.
