Kate Middleton has proven once again that she can perfectly portray whatever role the monarchy will throw at her. A celebrity and royal style expert praised Prince William's wife for taking on the challenges that come with her new role as the Princess of Wales.

Miranda Holder had nothing but praise for Kate for her incredible look at the recent 2023 BAFTAs, creating a new style sensation. She even branded the Duchess of Cornwall's look as "genius."

The fashion stylist told the Mirror that the 41-year-old's striking red-carpet look, composed of dramatic monochrome, perfectly complemented her husband's outfit, making them look like a "true couple." They also appeared "completely at ease" while they rubbed elbows with the "great and the good" of the movie world.

She continued that the future queen consort has evolved he style since becoming the Princess of Wales in September. She now looks "more refined and confident," proving she's ready for her role as the future queen.

Compared to her previous BAFTA outfits, Holder noticed Kate looks more mature, polished, and poised. This shows that she can take on whatever challenges her new role throws her.

Holder believed Kate has "taken a leaf out" of the late Queen Elizabeth II's guidebook with her much-bolder choices. Though Her Majesty was also known for her bold style outfits, her granddaughter -in-law's monochrome style was way different.

Kate's BAFTA look was said to be her "most confident" appearance. Her dark pair of gloves was described as a "daring choice," and though fans had divided opinions about it, Holder said it was a "genius move."

Meanwhile, Kate has taken on "very specific roles and patronages" as she continuously evolves as the leading figure of the monarchy. Writer and broadcaster Esther Krauke even compared her to Queen Elizabeth, who was known for being broader in what she supported.

She told Sky News that Kate has made it clear that there are only a few issues her role can focus on as a working royal and future queen, breaking away from the royal tradition. By the looks of it, her move will take the royals into the 21st century with the rest of the U.K. people.

She launched her first major project, Shaping Us, as the Princess of Wales earlier this year. It's an awareness campaign that highlights the importance of early childhood. At its pre-launch event, Kate said it's important to understand the importance of the earliest years and know what everyone can do to help raise future generations of happy and healthy adults.
