As preparations continue for the coronation of King Charles III, Camilla's family is expected to play a crucial part in the historic event. The palace recently announced in the official invitation that Camilla will be known as Queen during the ceremony.

With the coronation just weeks away, both King Charles III and Camilla are finalizing plans for the roles and responsibilities of various participants. Charles has determined that only working royals will be allowed on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the flypast and has excluded non-royal dukes from the invitation list. Additionally, peers have been instructed to forgo their coronation robes and coronets, which have been worn for over 500 years, and instead dress in business attire.

Though the palace has not yet confirmed the official guest list, it is believed that Camilla's family will have a significant presence. Fiona Shelburne, the Marchioness of Lansdowne and one of the "Queen's companions," which replaces the ladies-in-waiting, revealed to The Sunday Times that Camilla's teenage grandchildren will assist her by carrying her train.

Shelburne, 68, stated, "It was a big decision, but it's so much more fun to have them there by her side." She also mentioned that Camilla has been adamant about the guest list, adding, "She is fiercely loyal to friends and that will be reflected in who goes to the big day. She wants to be loyal to the people who've stood by her."

Camilla has five grandchildren: Eliza, 15, and 13-year-old twins Louis and Gus from her daughter Laura Lopes, and 15-year-old Lola and 13-year-old Freddy from her son Tom Parker Bowles.

Concerns have arisen as the coronation rehearsals have significantly overrun, leading to worries that the public may lose interest and further pressure the monarch's reign. Royal aides are working tirelessly to ensure perfection on the big day.

Despite the concerns, royal sources have expressed confidence, stating, "It's fair to say it will go down to the wire, but there is huge confidence everything will go to plan on the day... The King and Queen Consort want it to be perfect as does everyone involved, which is why everything is being done to make it so."
