Despite Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's frequent appearances in Dior, the Duchess of Sussex is not on the verge of formalizing a partnership with the renowned fashion house, quashing rumors about her reinventing her image through such an alliance.

Official spokespersons for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dismissed the speculation in a conversation with Page Six, stating no such plans were underway. Dior insiders echoed this sentiment, expressing confusion about the origins of the tale.

Royal journalist Victoria Ward of The Telegraph also contradicted these rumors on Twitter, stating, "The Duchess of Sussex is not in talks to sign a deal with Dior, sources insist. They say there is no truth to the claims that she will partner with the French fashion house."

Caroline Graham, a writer for the Daily Mail, initially ignited the rumor mill, asserting that Meghan Markle, former actress of the TV series "Suits," was on the precipice of a significant agreement with Dior. She pointed towards Markle's talent agency WME's attempts to rejuvenate her image, following the cessation of her Spotify contract.

Graham quoted an unnamed Beverly Hills socialite who claimed, "Meghan is all anyone is talking about. There have been rumours for weeks that she's about to sign a deal with Dior which has put the gossip mill into overdrive."

The socialite continued, suggesting that a successful Dior deal would overshadow the cancellation of Markle's short-lived podcast.

Following just one season, Spotify and the royal couple's company, Archewell Audio, mutually decided to end their partnership. The decision resulted in non-renewal of the "Archetypes" podcast series, with the couple reportedly missing out on the full $20 million compensation due to limited output.

Despite this, a WME source revealed to Graham, "We knew the Spotify announcement was coming. It might be a shock to everyone else but we've been working on the rebranding of Meghan for weeks."

The source also confirmed Meghan's representation by Ari Emanuel, a renowned agent at WME, highlighting Emanuel's prowess in corporate deals and profitability.

While Prince Harry has been spotted in Dior attire on multiple high-profile occasions, Meghan has been an evident enthusiast of the brand, donning it at significant events like the christening of Prince Archie, the Queen's state funeral, and a reception at the British ambassador's residence in Morocco, among others.
