Prince William is reportedly drawing strength from his wife, Kate Middleton, as he navigates through the "disappointment" stemming from his ongoing rift with his brother, Prince Harry. This is according to journalist and royal biographer Christopher Andersen, although the International Business Times has been unable to independently verify these claims.
"William, with the unyielding support of the resilient Kate, who maintains an unperturbed demeanor in all circumstances, is exceptionally adept at masking his disappointment," Andersen, author of "King," told Fox News Digital. "Through photographs with his family, interactions with King Charles and Queen Camilla, or during his royal duties, William appears to be in high spirits and more content than ever."
However, Andersen indicates that the truth is potentially different beneath the surface.
The author of "Brothers and Wives" suggests that Prince William had always envisioned his younger brother joining him on the Buckingham Palace balcony. Andersen considers the bond between the two princes to have surpassed "any normal brotherly bond," and it's presumably deeply troubling for William to see this bond disrupted after the Sussexes' royal exit.
On a similar note, Kinsey Schofield, a royal commentator and host of the "To Di For Daily" podcast, believes Middleton's presence has been a significant solace to Prince William during this family discord.
"Prince William's careful choice of a life partner has proven to be incredibly rewarding over the past years," Schofield conveyed to Fox News Digital. "The affection and support from his wife and children have played an instrumental role in his emotional well-being and recovery process. William continues to demonstrate the qualities of a devoted father and doting husband. His kindness and charm echo Princess Diana."
Schofield expressed optimism about a possible reconciliation between the royal brothers, provided Prince Harry refrains from making allegations about the royal family in books, docuseries, and interviews.
"Harry will inevitably need his brother at some point, and I believe Prince William will be ready to lend his support," said the royal commentator. "However, any hope of reconciliation is unlikely while Harry persistently strains relationships and harms those William holds dear."
Renowned royal expert Tom Quinn previously commented on the compatibility of Prince William and Middleton, stating that their contrasting personalities complement each other well.
"Kate is the tranquil element," said Quinn, author of "Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family." "William, on the other hand, can be a bit fiery, a trait highlighted in Harry's book. But Kate remains composed. She's the peacemaker, always ready to smooth over disagreements."
Nick Bullen, co-founder of True Royalty TV, also echoed this sentiment, observing that the marriage between the Prince and Princess of Wales works effectively due to their "strong partnership."
