Jimin, a member of the top idol group BTS (consisting of RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jungkook), has been chosen as the number one star fans want to gift cookies to on 'Cookie Day'.
According to a survey conducted by Seven Edu, an internet mathematics education company for elementary, middle, and high school students, from October 16 to November 12 among 647 participants, BTS's Jimin was selected as the most desired star to give cookies to on Cookie Day, garnering 271 votes (41.9%).

Celebrated on November 14, Cookie Day is an occasion to gift cookies to someone special. Cookies, typically made from basic ingredients like flour, sugar, and oil, are flat baked snacks. The term 'cookie' is derived from the Dutch word 'koekje,' meaning 'little cake,' and is related to the German word 'Keks'.
The origin of the cookies we eat today can be traced back to 7th-century Persia, now Iran. Soldiers discovered sugarcane on the banks, which contributed to the creation of various pastries. Persian pastries, made from these ingredients, are still famous today.
Explaining why Jimin was selected as the top star to gift cookies to on 'Cookie Day', Cha Gil-young, CEO of Seven Edu & Math Ssabu, analyzed, "It's due to his heartwarming appearance and lovely smile that captivates women's hearts."
Meanwhile, Jimin recently topped the global popularity vote 'King Choice' - The King Of Kpop 2023, securing his position as a representative K-pop artist of Korea and proving his unparalleled popularity and presence for the fifth consecutive year.
Jimin is recognized not only as an artist but also as a role model for his continuous donations and hands-on practice of good deeds for the socially disadvantaged. Following Jimin's example, his fans worldwide are also showing good examples by carrying out charitable acts in various parts of the world.
