Jungkook has set a groundbreaking record as the first and only Asian solo artist to enter the top 20 of the 'Billboard 200' chart for four consecutive weeks, reaffirming his status as a 'Global Pop Star.'

Previously, 'GOLDEN' debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's 'Top Sales Album' and 'Top Current Album' charts. In its first week, it achieved the highest sales for a K-Pop solo album in the U.S., selling over 200,000 copies.

Jungkook has been recognized as a solo artist who shone brilliantly throughout the year, being selected for 'Album of the Year' and 'Song of the Year' by prestigious international media. 'GOLDEN' was included in the 'Best Albums of 2023' by the American daily 'The New York Times' (NYT).

The American media outlet UPROXX listed 'GOLDEN' among 'The Best Albums Of 2023,' praising that Jungkook not only proved himself as a member of the group (BTS) but also as a solo 'Pop Sensation.' They added that Tracks like the romantic 'Standing Next to You,' the rhythmic '3D,' and the poignant ballad 'Hate You' are sure to become timeless classics.

Additionally, Jungkook's solo single 'Seven' ranked 99th on 'The Best Songs of the Year' by 'Rolling Stone,' receiving high praise for how "Jungkook's soulful vocals shine over the varied garage beats." 'Seven' debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's main single chart 'Hot 100,' staying for 15 weeks, and topped the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' for nine consecutive weeks and 'Global 200' for seven weeks. It also remained in the top 10 of both charts for 20 weeks. The track also received a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over one million units.

'Seven' was ranked fourth in Spotify's 'Top Tracks of 2023' as the most streamed song globally in 2023, proving its status as a global mega-hit. It was also the most streamed song in Korea. 'Seven' set a world record as the fastest song to reach 100 million streams (pre-filtering) on Spotify in less than six days and was officially recognized by the 'Guinness World Records' for achieving the fastest 1 billion streams (pre-filtering).

Meanwhile, 'GOLDEN,' released on November 3, made history by becoming the first solo album in 13 years to sell over 2.5 million copies since the Hanter Chart in Korea revised its counting method in 2010.
