With the 2024 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup set to start at the end of March, Singapore is bracing itself for its third consecutive event with more than 20 nations being represented at the tournament. 43 teams will battle it out this year, with Mongolia's men's team and Australia's women's team hoping to defend the titles they won in 2023.

Running from March 27th to the 31st, the event will see all but one session featuring six games with the first two sessions on the 27th and 38th being free to enter. All other session tickets start from just $5, making it an attractive proposition for sports fans in Singapore.

The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2024 opening game will be contested by the Republic of Korea and Northern Mariana Islands men's teams.

There are also some great options in Singapore for those hoping to place a bet on the event. Betting expert James Fuller explains that despite the relatively small population of 5.5 million, Singapore has a vibrant betting industry. The only legal online betting options are available through the Singapore Pools site. However, offshore gambling sites circumvent regulations and offer a variety of online sports betting markets.

The men's event sees World number 4 paired up with hosts Singapore in Group A. They will be joined by the winner of the Group A qualifiers which includes Taiwan, Iran, and Hong Kong.

Group B sees defending champions Mongolia and Thailand who will be joined by the qualifiers from South Korea, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

Japan and the Philippines will take on the winner of Group C's qualifying round between Australia, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tahiti.

The final group will see New Zealand and Qatar take on the qualifiers from Malaysia, India, the Maldives, and Macau.

The women's event sees Group A already completed with China, Singapore, and Taiwan. Group B will be battled out between Japan, Thailand, and the winner from the qualifying group containing Iran, Macau, and South Korea.

Mongolia and Malaysia will be joined by the winner of the group that includes the Philippines, the Maldives, Kazakhstan, and Tahiti.

The final women's group will see New Zealand and Australia face the qualifiers from India, Hong Kong, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Indonesia.

FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2024 spectators will be limited to 10 tickets and printed or electronic tickets must be presented to gain entry to the event.

Security checks will be in place and prohibited items include glass bottles, noise-making instruments or air horns, advertising or overtly political flags or signs, and professional videography, photography, or streaming is also prohibited.

Session times will run from 11am to 130pm, 215pm and 445pm, and 630pm to 9pm. Entry to sessions will be permitted 30 minutes before they are due to start.

The exciting event will take place at the Singapore Sports Hub, located in Kallang. The Singapore Indoor Stadium is located near the National Stadium and has a 12,000 capacity.
