Apple is preparing to release a new lineup of iPad Pro and iPad Air models in early May, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and other sources familiar with the matter. The company's overseas suppliers have increased production of these devices, which are expected to bring significant upgrades to Apple's tablet offerings.
The new iPad Pro models will be powered by Apple's latest M3 chip, offering enhanced performance and efficiency compared to the current M2 chip used in the existing iPad Pro lineup. Additionally, the iPad Pro will feature OLED displays, providing users with deeper blacks, richer colors, and an overall improved visual experience. Alongside the tablet itself, Apple plans to launch redesigned versions of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.
One of the most notable changes in the upcoming lineup is the introduction of a 12.9-inch iPad Air model, marking the first time this screen size has been available for the Air series. This larger iPad Air is expected to be powered by the M2 chip, while the standard 10.9-inch model will likely receive a processor upgrade as well.
