Prince Harry will visit the UK alone as neither Meghan Markle nor his estranged family plan to join or see him to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Invictus Games this month. The youngest son of King Charles and thee late Princess Diana will be in London to grace the celebration at St Paul’s Cathedral.

"No senior members of the royal family are going to be there. That's where his parents got married. It's going to be a very somber and senior event,” royal expert Charlotte Griffiths told broadcaster Patrick Christys of GBN.

First built in the 17th century, the iconic church was the site of King Charles and Princess Diana’s wedding in July 1981, which ended to one of the “nastiest” splits in 1,200 years of British royal history. It was also where Prince Harry and Meghan were infamously booed by crowds on the cathedral’s grand steps in June 2022.

Prince Harry, despite all the painful memories, is expected to to be “all smiles” as his life works are honored in one of his home state’s greatest landmarks. "It's a really important part of Harry's soul and the kind of thing he'd want his wife, maybe even his kids, by his side for,” Charlotte added.

"Meghan is leaving him there alone, and I just think he's going to cast a really lonely portrait of a man without his friends around him, without his family, and without senior members of the royal family. And no wife there with him as well,” she went on.

“He's staying in a hotel, he's not staying in a royal residence. I think he'll be here for a couple of days, not a week. I just don't think Meghan will let him out of her sight for that long. I think a couple of days is all he'll manage,” Charlotte claimed.

As for Meghan, the royal expert suggested that she will be staying in Montecito to prepare outfits and get ready for her imminent tour to Nigeria.

“If she was to come to the U.K., it would be really difficult. It would bring up terrible memories of the past for her and awkward moments when she was in various churches and things. But she's a strong and tough woman, we know that about her, and she's always telling us how brave she is. So if I were her, I would I'd be brave and walk up those steps. It would look great for her Netflix show anyway,” Charlotte shared.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry had shocking excuse for not wearing King Charles’ coronation medals while presenting the “Soldier of the Year” award at a ceremony. For starters, the coronation medal was handed to everyone actively contributing and supporting the monarch’s coronation, which took place on May 6, 2023.

Despite not donning the medal, Prince Harry sported four other British medals and has a bizarre excuse for not wearing one from King Charles last year. A source told Daily Mail that the Duke of Sussex’s decision was not an intentional snub to his father.

The choice was made instead because the medal was "swing-mounted" on a short ribbon and required to be transferred to a specialist to attach to a longer ribbon. According to the article, this is to "stop it from swinging around" while worn.

In the new video, Prince Harry gave the honor to Sergeant First Class Elizabeth Marks, a US combat medic, praising her "courage, resilience, and determination.” Although the Coronation Medal was missing, Harry wore four military decorations on his elegant black suit jacket.

Prince Harry his Operational Service Medal for Afghanistan, which he received in 2008 for his service in Helmand Province, the late Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, which was awarded in 2002 to everyone who had been in active service for five years, Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee Medal, which was given to members of the emergency services, Armed Forces, prison service, and the royal household in 2012, and the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal.

To recall, Prince Harry came to the UK last May to attend King Charles’ historic Coronation. Despite the long flight from California to London, Harry's visit was brief, with the former employee departing for the airport immediately after the service.

Prince Harry was believed to be eager to return home to celebrate his son Archie's birthday, which fell on the same day as the coronation. Meghan, for her part, remained in America with their children, Archie, who turns five next week, and Lilibet, who is two.
